Awesomely Creative School Visits!

with professional nature photographer, newspaper photographer and artist Adam Seif!

Hello there! I want to tell you all about my fantastic school visits! They are so great and it’s all about creativity! My goal as an artist/photographer is to inspire children to be creative every day. Nothing holds back a creative person. Developing the imagination at a young age is the foundation for a successful adulthood. That’s the focus of each and every school visit I perform. Creativity is my middle name!

My Art

I’ve always been a creative person. As a youngster, I started out by drawing with pencils and markers on paper… and then on the walls of our house! My mom wasn’t so happy about that! Later on, I liked art so much, I attended Western Kentucky University, where I earned a degree in Graphics Design and Art. After I graduated, I began to paint and then I started cartooning, then the next addition was photography.

My Photography

I spend a lot of time outdoors, trying to capture that perfect landscape or animal pose. I really have gained an enjoyment and passion for that. Somehow, the animals are not scared of me and I can get some really cool expressions and poses from them! Handfuls of my photographs have been published in various magazines within Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and beyond. Many of my animal photos have also been recognized nationally through social media with thousands of likes.

My photography interests have also multiplied. I photograph homes, jewelry, foods, sports and much more. I am also a staff professional photographer for Current Publishing, which is a weekly printed newspaper that is sent directly to the homes of thousands in Central Indiana.

About My Visit

Bernie Howard, teacher of 27 years in the Bowling Green, Kentucky schools writes… “I have known Adam Seif for many years and I know his work well. His skill in art mixed with his creativity makes him a valuable educational resource. Adam excels in the world of art. He also has a very artistic eye behind the camera as he has captured thousands of captivating images. He is also published. As you can see, Adam has a diverse background that has allowed him to express his creativity for others to enjoy.”

I love to tell stories and draw with kids! I’ll do both during my visit. My presentation lasts about one hour and I’ll have everyone’s attention the whole time!

1st part of the visit… I’ll share some of my photographs in nature with the children and tell them stories about how I got the photos. Here are just a few examples of many…

I was out in the woods by the river and heard a splat behind me about ten feet away. That’s when I looked up and noticed that I wasn’t alone! I was just happy he didn’t go to the bathroom on my head!

I was walking along a large field at our local high school, when I noticed the soccer net moving at the bottom. I ran over there and saw a Great Horned Owl all tangled up in the netting! I can’t wait to tell the kiddos about that experience!

I hope the kiddos like spiders, because I got brave for this one!

2nd part of my visit…
I will share with the kids how it has been being a newspaper photographer. I have met and photographed some fantastic people! So many people in our community with so many skills and achievements! I capture it all!

3rd part of the visit… I’m an artist first and foremost. I love to draw! Even more than that, I love to draw with children! I will choose one of my animal or bug photographs to draw with the kids. My step-by-step method makes drawing fun and rewarding! The children will absolutely love drawing with me!

4th part of my visit… I always answer all the questions that the kids have! Believe me, I have heard it all and many make me giggle.

At the end of my visit, the kids get a chance to take home a few souvenirs from me. I’ll have some of my fun animal photographs printed on 5X7 premium glossy photo paper for them if they want to order. Of course, I’ll sign each photo! A set of 3 photos is only $10.

Costs For My Visit

For a visit, I’ll charge the school $150. For that, I can perform 1 large presentation, or up to 2 or 3 smaller presentations. If I perform 4 or more, the cost is $250. (I will work with the school if that pricing is an issue.)

Ordering Souvenir Nature Photo Prints

Beforehand, I’ll supply an order form with a QR Code that the kids can take home. Then, parents and kids will be able to go onto my site and see the 3 nature photos offered.

Parents can pay the $10 in 2 ways…

1. Parents can send a check or cash to school with their children along with the order form before my visit.

2. Parents can go onto my website and pay there with a credit card. They can also fill out the contact form.

(We can discuss if your school would like to offer both options for payment or just one.)

I’ll bring the signed photos with me the day of the visit!

What’s Needed The Day Of My Visit

For the visit, if possible, I’ll need to connect to a large screen to share my nature photos. If this isn’t possible, I have large prints of my work that I can walk around with and show. The children will need a pencil and a piece of paper. That’s about it!

Thank You So Much!

I look forward to discussing my awesomely creative visits with you and hopefully setting up a date to visit. I love what I do and I just want to share my passion with the children. Please consider having me visit your school.
